Cyril Lawless lives in Boddington, Western Australia, he plays his darts in the Boddington Hotel, in the local league. Cyril lived in Walthamstow, London, for many years, and during that time he played for the Plough with the Legendary Tommy O'Reagan, and Paul Durrant, who was the founder of Durro Darts.
Cyril moved to the Swan Public House, also in Walthamstow, and teamed up with Dave Whitcombe and Colin Baker, in 1982 he emigrated to Western Australia, and due to working hours, he was unable to persure his darts to the level he would have wished. Cyril always reckoned he was born too soon, when he sees the rewards available to the players of today, maybe he is right, on May the 26th 2010, Cyril will be 80 years of age, a special birthday bash is being arranged at the Boddington Hotel, where dart friends from Kalgoorlie, Perth and Darkan, will gather to celebrate the special occasion with a few games of darts and a few drinks.
The Legends of Darts wish to salute Cyril, he is a true Legend in the sport of Darts, and may you carry on enjoying the sport, you have played for a life time.

Phil Taylor is starting to pull away in the 2010 Premier League race for the play off's, at the half way stage he has 13 [points, and looks certain to make the top 4 slot, and the ultimate play off position.
Last nights round at Birmingham saw Taylor in top form against Adrian Lewis, Taylor finished the match with an average of 105.25 per throw, and that says it all, Lewis was good, but not good enough for Taylor, who predicted he would hand out a lesson, for free. Lewis's own avergae of 97.89 was not bad at all, but was made to look better by the 13-13-12-10 dart legs Taylor produced, Lewis is great to watch, free flowing, high scoring, but he needs to hit the doubles when he gets the chance, when that does happen, look out the rest of the field.
The nights darts began with Whitlock v King, Whitlock went 3-0 up in quick style, then King won 6 of the next 7 legs to go 6-4 in front, then at 7-6 to Whitlock, King missed double 16 to take a point from the match, Whitlock seized the chance and closed out on double 10 and a 8-6 win.
