Time passes quite easily, and goodbyes are about to be said, but SKY TV play a key card, an advert for the World Matchplay Darts this weekend in Blackpool is shown, it will be in 3D, a first for the sport, great news, then the chat between the two Legends goes into serious mode, a challenge, who can predict the most winners from the first round of 32. a wager is laid, and here it is.

Las Vegas

The PDC are in Las Vegas for the American Series of Darts this week, sadly it looks like they could have saved their money and held the event in Brighton, Blackpool, or even Skegness, only 73 American darters have made the entry, with a prize fund of $200,000 on offer, it maybe proves darts America is just not working, maybe soft tip electronic darts has taken over from the traditional steel tip game, or maybe the financial situation is at fault. Howie Reed wrote a fine article when he quoted the words of Larry Butler, maybe the PDC should take note and adapt his theory in one last attempt to get darts America moving in the right direction.
